Step 1: Check your connection
The truTV app requires an Internet connection of 3.0 Mbps or greater. If you are experiencing issues with playback, check your connection speed. If you're using a cellular data connection, try connecting to a wireless network to improve the performance.
Step 2: Restart the app
Follow the steps necessary to close out of the application and then try opening it again.
Step 3: Restart your device
Turn off your device completely and give it a few moments. Then turn the device back on and try again.
Step 4: Install software updates
The truTV application will work best if you are running the latest software on your device. Check the settings menu and if any software updates are available, make sure to install the latest version.
Step 5: Remove and reinstall the app
If your issues persist, try deleting the application from your phone. Then return to the app store and install the app again.
